Cool Time of the Year
Old man winter has made a strong come back with night time temperatures in the twenties. The
good news is we hope it takes a toll on the insect population. Guard your flowers and plants
with some plastic bag covers and hope for the best. The development looks great this time of
year. Thanks to all for your yard beautification and everyone’s fertilizer program, self
applied or through contract.
Homeowners Advisory Committee
The monthly meeting of the Homeowners Advisory Committee is scheduled on Tuesday April 3, 2007.
New members are welcome and the anticipated input would be well received. Thank you all for your
interest in our community.
Chesterfield Day School-St. Albans is hosting a Star Party
You can view the night sky through telescopes – on Friday evening, April 27, from 8-10 p.m. The
St. Albans community is invited! The party will take place outside in front of the school building
at 123 Schoolhouse Road. Volunteers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society will be on hand and will
set up their high-powered telescopes for public viewing. They will be available to answer any
questions. The sun sets very late so that is the reason for the late start. Chesterfield Day School
teacher Alissa White got the idea for the party last fall after her K-1 students completed their
unit on Astronomy. She had hoped to schedule the party at that time but there weren’t any planets
visible in the early evening sky then. On April 27 Saturn and the first quarter moon should be
visible. There will be no presentations, just telescopes for you and your children to look through.
If there is inclement weather, the Star Party will be cancelled. Come and see the wonder of our universe!

Time Away From St. Albans

The Dairy Barn at St. Albans
The Dairy Barn is getting added attention from interested parties who are looking for alternative
locations for a variety of business ventures. As a result of this interest we are gathering
information on restoration and also attempting to determine how much of the existing structure
could be leased. If any of our residents have an interest in office or commercial spaces please

Gardens at Malmaison
Our patio is now open! Come out and enjoy our outdoor fireplaces. We offer both fine dining
and casual menus. The new menu comes out April 5th! Malmaison is the perfect place to come for
Mother’s Day Brunch. Don’t delay, seating will book fast! Call (636) 458-0131 for reservations.
Heads Store Hours
Please note the following hours of operation for Heads Store. Weekday hours are from 7:30
AM until 5:30 PM. The store is open from 9:00AM until 2:00 PM. on Saturday. The store is
closed on Sunday.
